Wednesday, April 17, 2019 - 6:00pm

Join us on April 17th at 6:00 PM as we discuss The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George.

From Goodreads, this novel is "filled with warmth and adventure" and is a "love letter to books, meant for anyone who believes in the power of stories to shape people's lives."

The Little Paris Bookshop explores the connection between the world of literature and human experiences. Monsieur Perdu runs a bookstore set on a barge, and considers himself somewhat of a literary connoisseur. Based on the hardships in his customers' lives, Perdu uses his special talent to prescribe the perfect book to heal their hearts and souls. However, the one person he can't heal is himself. His greatest love left him haunted when she disappeared leaving only a letter behind, which he has never opened.

When Monsieur Perdu finally opens the letter, he sets on a mission to make peace with his loss and discover the end of the story while setting the example that literature can heal the human soul.
