June Book Club- South of Superior by Ellen Airgood
Wednesday, June 19, 2019 - 6:00pm

Join our discussion of South of Superior by Ellen Airgood on Wednesday, June 19th at 6:00 pm!

When Madeline Stone leaves Chicago and moves to the Michigan coast of Lake Superior, she isn't prepared for how much her life will change. In the small, tight-knit town where she is caring for an aging family friend, Madeline is pulled into the lives of the residents. The town is a prime example where times are tough and debt runs deep, but friendship, compassion, and a sense of community runs deeper. This novel will pull the reader along through a lost child, a dashed love, a car accident, a wedding, a fire, and a romantic reunion.

Dubbed as, "a debut novel full of heart," our discussion will explore the notion that those who are "poor in pocket can be rich in many other ways."
