Dear Community Members:

Considering the recent events and to minimize the impact of COVID-19 in our community, the Hortonville Public Library will be closed to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17th until further notice. We will be periodically monitoring our emails and library voice mail- see the contact information below. However, due to our closure, please note that emails and voice mails may not be immediately answered. We will work on replying to your messages as soon as we are able.

Please refrain from returning your library materials during this time. When items are returned to us after we re-open, we will back-date our computers to avoid overages due to our closure. Also note, any items placed on hold or currently on hold will not be available during our closure, but we will work on extending them after our re-opening.

As a reminder, the OWLS library system has many digital services available to you free with your library card; please check out our digital collections at www.infosoup.org or wplc.overdrive.com.

During this time, we are continuously monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and will keep you informed of any additional information through our website and our Facebook page.

This was not an easy decision to make, but please know that we take the health and safety of our community seriously. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time, and we look forward to seeing you again as soon as we can.

Sincerely,

Allie Krause

Library Director
