Volunteer at the Library

The Hortonville Public Library is seeking volunteers to assist with shelving books and materials, basic cleaning, preparation for programs, and occasional assistance with programs.  Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age and, if under 16, have parent/guardian approval.  Volunteers must consent to a basic background check; guidelines showing examples of what may constitute a failed background check can be found below.  Applications are available at the library and for download here.  Completed applications can be directed to Rachel Honzik, our library director via the following channels:

**The Library is currently accepting applications for ARCHIVES VOLUNTEERS in addition to regular volunteers.  Archives Volunteers help organize our local history documents and process them for safe circulation.  Qualified candidates will have some knowledge of Hortonville history and a strong appreciation of the value of historical documents.  To apply as an Archives Volunteer, please fill out our usual volunteer application in full and when you submit it, indicate in the body of your email or with a note attached to your hard-copy application that you wish to be an Archives Volunteer.  Thank you!
